Asynchronous football manager · Persistent world · 3 matchdays a week

Your club.
Your decisions.

Rasenregent is a football management game set in a persistent online world. You take over a club and make your calls before every matchday: lineup, tactics, match plan. At kick-off the match is played out fairly — against other managers, real people like you, not just AI. Afterwards you can watch every match in 3D: every moment the consequence of your decisions.

The matchday

How a matchday works

Three matchdays a week. Before each one you decide — afterwards you watch.

1Train

Train your team

Set the focus for the week, keep your squad fit and develop young players. A few smart calls are enough — no daily grind, no compulsory check-ins.

Pick your eleven

Check the squad, read the opponent, settle on lineup, tactics and match plan. A handful of decisions that carry real weight — not fifty sliders. Done in five to ten minutes, on your phone on the train if you like.

Kick-off. At kick-off your match is played out — fairly, transparently, by the same rules for everyone. Whether you happen to be online or not.

3Watch back

See what your tactics did

The result, the match report and — if you want it — the whole match as a 3D replay. The report counts what happened: turnovers won, shots, possession by third of the match, player ratings, voices from the dressing room. It invents no text and asserts no causes; the conclusions are yours.

4Keep building

Grow your club

Between matchdays there are transfers, stadium work and the league to follow — whenever you feel like it. None of it is a daily duty. Then comes the next kick-off.

Four strengths

What's waiting for you

Watch your matches in 3D

Every match comes as a full 3D replay — from the decisive goal to the big chance just before the whistle. Highlights or all 90 minutes, at your pace, on your device. You don't just read what happened. You watch it.

Rivals with a memory

You share your league with other managers — real people like you, alongside AI clubs that keep the world turning. Beat you twice in a promotion race and someone becomes a rival — and the game remembers: derby history, head-to-head record, moments nobody forgets. Rivalries here aren't written. They happen.

Players with character

Every player has a personality: the loud one, the quiet worker, the ambitious talent, the club legend who came through your own youth setup. They react to success, to the bench and to contract talks — your squad is a dressing room full of characters, not a list.

A world that keeps going

No save file, no reset. The league plays on whether you're online or not — with promotion and relegation, a cup, a transfer market and club histories that grow over years. What you build stays.

Fits your life

A game that respects your calendar

Three matchdays a week — Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, for example. Ten minutes per matchday, half an hour a week. Rasenregent doesn't ask for more.

  • No energy bars. No waiting times you can buy your way out of.
  • No login duty. Miss a matchday and your assistant coach picks a sensible eleven. Your club doesn't fall apart while you're on holiday.
  • No endless grind. There is plenty worth doing between matchdays — training, transfers, stadium work — but none of it has to happen daily.

Ten minutes on your phone is enough for a full matchday. If you want to go deeper — scouting, finances, club philosophy — the depth is there. If you don't, you stay competitive anyway.

Your club, your story

You start in the bottom division: an inherited squad, an empty till, a fence instead of a stand — and a club full of possibilities. Take over mid-season, rename it, give it a crest and colours, and turn it into your project.

Build your stadium stone by stone: terraces, floodlights, club shop, VIP boxes. Turn youth players into crowd favourites. Negotiate contracts, survive a relegation season, celebrate promotion. All of it becomes part of the club chronicle: records, legendary matches, legends who earned it.

Years later you scroll through your club's history — and every bit of it really happened. Against real people.

Fair play

Fair, because it's no fun otherwise.

Pay to win? Not here. In Rasenregent it's tactics, squad planning and a bit of football luck that decide — not the shopping cart.

The only thing you can buy is cosmetics: crests, kits, office styles. Your club is allowed to look different. It never gets stronger for it.

If someone beats you, their tactics were better. That's the whole trick.
Nothing hidden

The whole game, in writing

Rasenregent comes with a handbook that explains how the game actually works — not in hints, but with the rules and the numbers behind them. 45 chapters, from player ability through market value to promotion and relegation.

  • Worked out with your squad. The examples are not invented: 39 chapters compute with your players, your squad value, your league. You don’t read about “a player at ability 17” — you read about yours.
  • The same formula the game uses. The handbook’s tables are evaluated, not described, by the same code that decides your matchday. Handbook and game therefore cannot drift apart.
  • Open to everyone. No head start for whoever has been here longest. If you want to know why a transfer was expensive or why a talent has stopped improving, you can look it up.

Quick questions

The questions we get most

01When can I play?
You can choose your club right now: create an account, take one over, look through the squad. The world starts on Monday 31 August 2026 — the first matchday is the Tuesday after, 1 September. Getting in early means a wider choice of clubs; once it starts, everyone shares the same first matchday.
02Do I play live against other people?
No — and that's on purpose. Every manager submits their decisions before kick-off; the match is played out for everyone fairly, at the same time. Nobody has to sit at a screen at half past eight. You look at the result and the 3D replay whenever it suits you.
03How much time does it take?
Ten minutes per matchday, half an hour a week. Three matchdays, no daily login, no energy systems. The world keeps going even when you take a break.
04What does Rasenregent cost?
The game is free to play. Later there will be purely cosmetic extras — crests, kits, stadium decoration. Playing strength is not for sale.
05Which devices does it run on?
In the browser — desktop and phone, no install, no app store. Every feature, from the tactics board to the 3D replay, is built for both.
06Are these real clubs and players?
No, the world is fictional — with generated clubs, players and stories that belong to you. No licensed brands, but a club that exists only once: yours.
07What happens when I don't have time?
Nothing bad. Your assistant coach picks a sensible eleven automatically and your club plays on. Rasenregent doesn't punish breaks — but results can still hurt.
08Who is making this?
Rasenregent is a family project — we build the game together as a family in Germany. We don't hold back how it works: the handbook in the game explains every rule and every number, worked out with your own squad.
